At Tierra Tours, we are committed to providing a fair and successful travel experience. Please read and sign our booking form, which outlines the terms for your holiday arrangements.

1. Payment

- To confirm your booking, sign the booking form and pay a deposit. The remaining balance is due 45 days before your departure date.

- For bookings made within 45 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

- All payments must be made in full, net of any charges, via bank transfer.

2. Cancellation Policy

To cancel your booking, submit a signed written notice, which will take effect upon receipt. Cancellation fees apply as follows:

  - **30-60 days before departure**: 20% forfeiture of the total safari cost.

  - **15-29 days before departure**: 70% forfeiture of the total safari cost.

  - **14 days or less before departure**: 100% forfeiture of the total safari cost. Please contact your insurance provider for possible refunds.

- Gorilla permits are non-refundable according to Uganda Wildlife Authority policies.

- If you reschedule your holiday for a specific date, you will incur a 10% cancellation fee, along with the non-refundable gorilla permit fees.

3. Alterations by You

- All changes to your booking must be made in writing. Changes requested within 10 weeks of departure will be treated as cancellations, and applicable fees will apply (see Cancellation Policy).

4. Travel Insurance

- We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance that offers coverage equal to or greater than our requirements, including 24-hour emergency assistance.

5. Shared Room Bookings

- Shared-room bookings are welcome; however, if a roommate is not found, you will be assigned a private room at an additional single supplement cost.

6. Environmental Responsibility

- Collecting living specimens from nature is strictly prohibited. We encourage observing and photographing wildlife responsibly without causing disturbances.

7. Baggage Responsibility

- Passengers are responsible for their own baggage and personal belongings at all times.

8. Travel Documents

- It is the traveler's responsibility to ensure that all travel documents are valid.

- Upon booking, please complete and return the safari booking form.

- We strive to honor all confirmed arrangements but may need to modify or cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, we will offer alternative options or a partial refund.

- Prices may be updated on our website without notice, but booked safaris will be honored at the agreed rate.

- Tierra Tours reserves the right to decline bookings without explanation.

10. Liability Disclaimer

- Your bookings are accepted understanding that you travel at your own risk. We are not liable for third-party actions, including those of airline or hotel staff, or for any losses due to war, riots, strikes, terrorism, or natural disasters. This does not affect your legal rights.

- In the event of an issue during your trip, please contact your guide immediately. If the matter remains unresolved, send a written complaint to info@tierratours.com within 7 days of the tour's conclusion. All complaints will be addressed promptly.
